For some reason today everyone went nuts over the idea of a missing planet in our solar system, and/or our sun’s binary sister. I found on digg two stories, one on fark and all sorts of emails pertaining to: Marduk, Nibiru, planet-x and the death star(the binary star to our own). It’s strange how these things happen; I had no idea so many people I knew were aware of these, what I previously believed were obscure, ideas. A few years ago if I told people of an Assyrian tablet telling of all the planets plus one, or of the Scientologists belief in Xenu, I’d be looked at like some kind of geek/madman. Now cartoons mock Xenu and Assyrian tablets are about as common and “Holy Blood Holy Grail”. I feel like I was the guy who knew the famous band back when they were still playing small clubs. Can I be a hipster of Occult theory? I better get some army issues glasses and a pair of converse just in case.
