For those of your unfamiliar with the Westboro Baptist church, they are an ultra-fundamentalist Christian church preaching that the United States in a country of pure sin. Founded by pastor Fred Phelps, the church preaches that the United States is a bunch of “fag enablers” living in the prophesied end-times. They are now fronted by Shirley Phelps Roper, daughter of Fred, and spiritual adviser of Sirius-XM’s Ron and Fez show. You may know them as the group that protests US Soldiers funerals. Check out Louis Theroux’s well-made BBC documentary “The most hated family in America” if you’re interested; it’s well worth the watch.
